LCRA: A Great Place to Work

  1. Candidates should search and apply for the positions in which he/she is interested, possess the skills, and match the minimum requirements of the job.
  2. Recruiter reviews and identifies those candidates whose skills and experiences match the job requirements as detailed in the job description.
  3. Those candidates who have the experience and skills that best match the role will be selected to continue through the process. Make sure you have included all relevant experience in your online resume.
  4. The interview/screening process varies with each opportunity.
  5. Candidates chosen to move forward in the interview process will be notified by the hiring manager.
  6. If an offer is extended, a background check must be initiated for all external hires or rehires prior to start date. Background checks consist of education and employment verification check, personal reference check, motor vehicle record check, where required a criminal history check, drug and alcohol screening.
  7. If a candidate is not selected to continue in the hiring process for a particular job opening, the candidate is encouraged to continue to search the LCRA career site and continue to apply to other positions that fit his/her background and experience.
