LCRA offers grants and services for local capital projects and nonprofit and government organizations that serve the public and enhance the region's quality of life
- Grant programs provide matching grants and services to help local governments and nonprofits with capital improvements and other public projects.
- The Central Texas Recycling Association is a cooperative of local governments, schools, nonprofits and other organizations that work together to reduce landfill costs by recycling. In July 2006 the association became an affiliate of the Recycling Alliance of Texas.
- LCRA Employees' United Charities is a voluntary nonprofit organization of LCRA employees who donate a portion of their paychecks each month to assist nonprofit, charitable and social service organizations in LCRA's service area. United Charities is managed entirely by employees.
