A boat ramp, 12 campsites, and picnic facilities make Park Prairie a comfortable base for recreation at Lake Fayette, a 2,000-acre cooling lake for the Fayette Power Project.
Ground fires are prohibited. Restrooms are available for park visitors; there are no shower facilities.

Group Area/Screened Shelter This group camping area will accommodate up to 24 people and is ideal for reunions and meetings. It includes a screened shelter (sleeps four) with electricity, three campsites, picnic tables, and a grill.

Reservations
During the peak seasons of spring and fall, and for all holidays, facilities book out early. Please call well in advance to reserve your camping or event site. Reservations can be made by calling Texas Parks and Wildlife Reservation Center at (512) 389-8900 and require more than 48 hours notice. To check availability within 48 hours of your arrival call the park at (979) 249-3344.
