A boat ramp, 12 campsites, and picnic facilities make Park Prairie a comfortable base for recreation at Lake Fayette, a 2,000-acre cooling lake for the Fayette Power Project.

Campsites are tent camping only. There is no water or electricity at the campsites. Ground fires are prohibited. Restrooms are available; there are no shower facilities. A group camping area will accommodate up to 24 people, and is ideal for reunions and meetings. Fees: Entry is $4 per person over 14 and $3 for people 65 and over. There are additional fees for use of camping and shelter facilities. See fees and facilities.

Reservations: Reservations for Park Prarie facilities can be made by calling Texas Parks and Wildlife Reservation Center at (512) 389-8900 more than 48 hours in advance.
