  • Register today for McKinney Roughs Nature Summer Camp Make your child's date with nature and register early. Register online or read more about each week's activities that revolve around a different natural science theme so campers can delve more deeply into the topics they find most interesting. There are eight sessions from June 11 through Aug. 10. (Camp is not offered the week of July 4.) Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Shuttle service from Austin and extended care are available. Register your child for the whole summer and they will experience something new each week!

Enjoy outdoor fun and adventure at LCRA's 42 parks and recreation areas along the Texas Colorado River, from the Hill Country to the Gulf Coast. There's plenty to see and do, whether you stay for a day or a week. Swim, sail, fish, hike, mountain bike, observe wildlife, stargaze, take a guided river trip -- even bring your horse for a ride. LCRA's nature parks and natural science centers offer a diverse array of Outdoor Education and Recreation Programs. Most programs must be scheduled by schools, groups and organizations in advance. Some classes are offered at specific times and dates for individuals, families and groups.
