Muleshoe Bend Recreation Area's 6.5-mile mountain bike trail is just one of its recreational opportunities. Riders of all experience levels can enjoy the trail. Those who don't want to go the distance can cut their rides short at several points.
Horseback riding is permitted in other areas of the park.
Muleshoe also has plenty of sites for tent camping, picnic tables with views of the lake and a gentle shoreline.

www.lcra.org/reserve for a $6 transaction fee per site, or call toll-free 855–392–7638 for a $7.50 transaction fee per site. Reservations must be made more than 48 hours in advance of arrival. Facilities get booked quickly during spring and fall, and over holidays, so make reservations early to guarantee a site. To check availability within 48 hours of your arrival, call the park directly.
Prior written permission shall be obtained from LCRA for any organized group activity on LCRA land involving 20 or more individuals.

LCRA opens new boat ramp at Muleshoe Bend on Lake Travis
Just in time for summer 2015, LCRA opened a new boat ramp on Lake Travis. The boat ramp at Muleshoe Bend Recreation Area is the only public ramp in the immediate area, offering boaters access to a beautiful part of Lake Travis.
