Cedar Point Recreation Area is one of the largest public tracts of land on Lake Buchanan with 400 acres and three miles of shoreline. The park is suited for walking, boating access, bank fishing, camping, picnicking and wildlife observation.

Cedar Point is ideal for launching a boat on the north end of the lake. The free boat ramp has a paved parking lot.

Reservations
Overnight camping is available on a first-come, first-served basis. No reservations are required. All groups over 20 require a Land Use Permit, call (800) 776-LCRA, Ext. 3366 for details.

Groups
Prior written permission shall be obtained from LCRA for any organized group activity on LCRA land involving 20 or more individuals.
