Narrows Recreation Area has the only public boat ramp on the lake's upper south side. Narrows is closed at night except for the boat ramp. The park has an outdoor restroom, but no other amenities.

Location note: The access road to the Narrows crosses Alligator Creek at a low-water crossing. During heavy rainstorms, the creek may be impassable. This location may not always be barricaded during unpredictable weather. Visitors should use extreme caution or avoid the area at those times.

Reservations
Day Use only. Picnic areas are available on a first-come, first-served basis. No reservations are required.

Groups
Prior written permission shall be obtained from LCRA for any organized group activity on LCRA land involving 20 or more individuals.  All groups over 20 require a Land Use Permit. Call (800) 776-LCRA, Ext. 3366 for details.
