Plum Park on the Colorado offers canoeists a great place to put in on the River between Smithville and La Grange. Campers arriving by river can camp overnight as can those who obtain permits. Plum Park is for day use only and the park's gates close at sundown.

Campsites

  • Unimproved Camping - Open range primitive camping. Limited number of picnic tables, fire rings and grills available on first-come first-serve basis.


Waterless toilets are available for park guests.

Reservations

Day Use only. For visitors arriving by water, overnight camping is available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you would like to keep a vehicle in the park overnight a permit must be obtained by calling 1-800-776-5272, Ext. 1922.

Groups

Prior written permission shall be obtained from LCRA for any organized group activity on LCRA land involving 20 or more individuals.

All groups of 20 or more require a Land Use Permit, call 1-800-776-LCRA, Ext. 3366 for details.
