Plum Park on the Colorado offers canoeists a great place to put in on the River between Smithville and La Grange. Campers arriving by river can camp overnight as can those who obtain permits. The park's gates close at sundown.

LCRA Recreation Area Annual Vehicle Permit: An annual vehicle permit is available for all LCRA recreation areas: Muleshoe Bend, Grelle Park, Turkey Bend, Gloster Bend and Plum Park. The cost is $60. See instructions on how to purchase your annual permit.
