A weak cold front will sag south into Central Texas late this afternoon and evening. With an unstable atmosphere in place, strong to severe thunderstorms are forecast to develop beginning about mid afternoon, contiuing into tonight. Very large hail and damaging winds will be possible. Isolated tornadoes also cannot be ruled out. Rainfall will average around a half inch with isolated heavier totals. Mostly sunny weather will return Wednesday as a ridge of high pressure sets up over Texas. This dry and warm pattern looks to continue into next week.
