Weather summary and outlook
|
The Forecast for Central Texas, Feb. 8th-Feb. 12th: Rain and scattered thunderstorms will develop today ahead of a strong cold front. The temperature will warm to the upper 60s then fall to the 40s by late afternoon. The sky will stay cloudy tonight with the temperature falling to the middle 30s. The sky will become partly cloudy Tuesday. it will be breezy and cool with a high only in the middle 40s. The temperature will fall to the low 30s Tuesday night.
The sky will become cloudy Wednesday as a wave of low pressure approaches from the west. Light rain will be possible by afternoon. The rain may become mixed with sleet and snow flurries Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Signficant accumulations are not expected. Thursday's temperature will only warm to near 40 degrees. The threat for precipitation will end Thursday evening.
Partly to mostly cloudy and dry weather is forecast Friday and this weekend with highs in the 50s and lows in the mid 30s.
