Weather summary and outlook

The Forecast for Central Texas, July 2nd-July 6th:  Mostly sunny and hot weather will be in place today through Sunday as high pressure in the upper atmosphere sets up over Texas once again.  High temperatures each day will be near 100-102 degrees.  A slight chance for showers and thunderstorms will develop Monday and Tuesday when a weak cold front tries to push south across the state.  Rain amounts, if any, will be low.  High temperatures both days will be in the upper 90s.  The outlook for the remainder of next week looks hot and dry.
