Jacob Daniel Apodaca
Jacob Daniel Apodaca has worked in volunteer water quality monitoring for the past 20 years. He was program coordinator for the Austin Youth River Watch Program from 1991 until 1999, when he joined the CRWN team at LCRA. He contributes to the CRWN program by engaging the public as volunteer monitors, addressing community water quality concerns, coordinating outreach presentations and workshops, and representing CRWN within LCRA and among supporting entities. He is passionate about his work, dedicated to the program, and a true believer in the value of volunteer data.

Lisa Benton
Lisa obtained a B.S. in Biology from the University of Texas in Austin and a M.S. in Watershed Management and Ecohydrology from the University of Arizona. Throughout her career, she has been involved in environmental education and outreach as both a professional and a volunteer and believes strongly in the importance of citizen-based environmental monitoring. Lisa serves as the CRWN lab & supply coordinator, manages content on LCRA's CRWN Web pages, and functions as database manager. She also provides support and training to CRWN volunteer monitors and gives presentations within the communities and classrooms along the Colorado River to increase awareness and participation in water quality issues.

Robin Berry
Robin began her career in water quality as a volunteer, first with the Save Barton Creek Association and the Save Our Springs Alliance, and then as a volunteer water quality monitor for the CRWN program. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Resource and Environmental Studies from Texas State University. She fosters leadership opportunities for volunteer monitors, and supports research and participation in optional parameter testing, which includes bacteria testing, biomonitoring and transparency measurements. She also provides oversight for water quality index reporting and is CRWN's contact for potential monitors. Robin edits Aqua Vitae, the program's quarterly newsletter.
