Rain showers and scattered thunderstorms are forecast Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday evening ahead of a cold front pushing south out of North Texas. Some of the storms may be strong to severe. Expect rainfall to average around a half inch. Dry and cooler weather will follow the cold front, with readings falling to the mid-50s Tuesday night. Sunny weather will be in place Wednesday through Saturday. The temperature will warm close to 90 degrees Thursday and into the lower 90s Friday and Saturday. A chance for rain is forecast Sunday and Memorial Day.
