LCRA has a wide range of water conservation programs for different water uses within its river basin, from a land leveling cost-share program for farmers to a partnership program with municipal utilities to give out free toilets. LCRA has programs to replace inefficient toilets and showerheads in partnership with several of its retail water utility customers. Visit www.watersmart.org to learn more about the program and for a list of current and past customer participants. This program has been extended to commercial and institutional customers such as schools and hotels following an on-site water audit.
