Bee Cave Regional Force Main to Lake Pointe Wastewater Treatment Plant Project

This project will connect the wastewater main with the Lake Pointe Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). This involves installing approximately 2,100 feet of wastewater line across RM 2244 and through the Lake Pointe Subdivision. The main is being extended to serve the area’s rapid growth and prepare for the possible future expansion of the Bee Cave Regional Lift Station.

The LCRA owns and operates the Lake Pointe WWTP. The facility currently provides wastewater service to approximately 2,100 connections in the West Travis County Region. As part of this system, LCRA owns and operates approximately 18 wastewater lift stations. The largest lift station in the system is the Bee Cave Regional Lift Station.

The Regional Lift Station is currently rated at 440 gallons per minute (gpm) and conveys wastewater to the Lake Pointe WWTP via an 8-inch force main. Recent analyses found that peak wet weather flows at the lift station are at or slightly over the rated capacity. Completing the 12-inch force main will increase the capacity of the lift station and serve any future expansion.

A portion of the 12-inch main from the lift station to the WWTP has already been installed. This project will complete that connection.
