George W. Russell
George W. Russell served three terms as mayor of Marble Falls, a position he held from 2009 to 2015. He previously served as the city manager of Marble Falls and Georgetown. Prior to his service as a city manager, he was the director of Regional Administrative Services for the Texas Department of Health. He has served on the boards of directors of the Texas Tech Hill Country Advisory Board, the Hill Country Children's Advocacy Center, Baylor Scott & White Hospital-Marble Falls, and numerous other organizations. He is a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow and served in the National Guard. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin. Gov. Greg Abbott appointed Russell to the Board in May 2015 for a term that expires Feb. 1, 2021.
