Joseph M. “Joe” Crane is a managing general partner of BU Growers, Ltd. and Lester Winfree Rice & Cattle, LLC in Bay City, Texas. He currently serves on the Matagorda County Drainage District and as a member of the Wharton County Fair Association. Crane received a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from Houston Baptist University. Gov. Greg Abbott appointed him to the Board in 2015 and reappointed him in 2021 for a term that expires Feb. 1, 2027.
