Energizing Texas
LCRA has provided reliable and cost-effective electric transmission services to Texans for decades. As one of the largest transmission service providers in the state, LCRA Transmission Services Corporation is a key contributor to projects that make electric service in Texas accessible, resilient and reliable.
During the past fiscal year, LCRA TSC completed projects totaling around $458 million. It successfully and safely maintains or operates more than 5,400 miles of transmission lines and equipment at about 430 substations with strong system availability.
LCRA TSC plans to invest about $3 billion over the next five years to build new transmission facilities and improve existing ones to support growth and increase the reliability of power infrastructure in our state.
