Margaret D. “Meg” Voelter

Margaret D. “Meg” Voelter of Travis County is a former adjunct professor at Baylor Law School and attorney at Cantey, Hanger, Roan and Autrey. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the National Association of Corporate Directors. She was a National Association of Corporate Directors Governance Fellow from 2020-2021. In addition, Voelter serves as president of the Hills of Austin Chapter of the National Charity League, and she is a member of UTEACH Advisory Council and the Dell Children’s Women’s Trust. She also serves as a mock trial coach and is a former Board member at Regents School of Austin. She served as secretary of the Regents School of Austin Board from 2013-2016. Voelter received a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from The University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctor degree from Baylor University School of Law. Gov. Greg Abbott appointed her in 2019 for a term that expires Feb. 1, 2025.
