Margaret D. “Meg” Voelter
Margaret D. “Meg” Voelter of Travis County is a former adjunct professor at Baylor Law School and attorney at Cantey, Hanger, Roan and Autrey. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and a National Association of Corporate Directors Governance Fellow. In addition, Voelter serves as the vice president of provisionals for the Hills of Austin Chapter of the National Charity League, and she is a member of UTEACH Advisory Council and the Dell Children’s Women’s Trust. She also serves as a mock trial coach and is a former Board member at Regents School of Austin. Voelter received a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from The University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctor degree from Baylor University School of Law. Gov. Greg Abbott appointed her in 2019 for a term that expires Feb. 1, 2025.
