Notice of pending water sale contract requiring LCRA Board action

The LCRA Board of Directors may consider the following request at its Jan. 28, 2026, meeting in Austin, or a subsequent meeting. LCRA Board meeting agendas are posted here at least 72 hours before the meeting. Public comments will be accepted in person at the Board meeting.

Jonestown Water Supply Corporation

Jonestown Water Supply Corporation (WSC) has requested an increase to its firm water contract. The contract would include the addition of 876 acre-feet to the current contracted amount of 750 acre-feet per year, for a total of up to 1,626 acre-feet per year for the city. The WSC diverts and treats water from Lake Travis to serve its customers in Travis County.
