Retiree well-being initiatives
Retiree wellness benefits – As part of LCRA’s overall benefits program, you have access to many wellness resources. Whether you want peace of mind that your will and estate planning are up-to-date, or you want to start or maintain some healthier habits, LCRA can help.
Legal library – All LCRA retirees will have access to an online legal self-help library through our legal provider ARAG. Search ARAG’s legal center database for articles and do-it-yourself forms for a variety of legal issues. Visit the ARAG legal center and use the access code 18181ret to learn more.
Rally wellness* – Rally is a free online wellness program available to UnitedHealthcare participants. After completing a short health survey, Rally builds personalized recommendations and offers daily encouragement and access to an online support community to help you meet your health and wellness goals. Participating in the program earns you “coins” that can be used to enter frequent drawings for a variety of prizes and gift cards. Rally also offers a mobile app so you can get encouragement and support on the go. Learn more about the program. Get started by logging in to your UHC account at myuhc.com, then clicking the “Health & Wellness” tab.
Tobacco-free initiative* – Complete and return the 2020 tobacco affidavit, which is included on the benefits worksheet. If you didn’t return a completed affidavit, you will pay the higher tobacco medical premiums, even if you don’t use tobacco products. Ready to quit? Complete the free Quit for Life tobacco cessation program by Nov. 30, 2020, and LCRA will refund the $75 additional premium amount for each month you have already paid and lower your premiums to the non-tobacco rate for the remainder of the plan year.
*For retirees who participate in LCRA’s group medical plan.
