LCRA offers rebates for residences, businesses, industries, schools, churches and other institutions.

Residential rebates 
Residential
If you are an LCRA domestic use customer, or a residential customer who receives water from one of these firm water customers, you can receive a rebate to help make your automatic irrigation systems more efficient. Rebates of up to $350 per system or 50 percent of the total cost, whichever is less, are available for the following equipment: pressure-reducing heads or nozzles, soil moisture sensors and rain sensors.

Pressure regulating valves:Up to $100 per valve.
Soil moisture sensors:Up to $250 per soil moisture sensor.
Rain sensors:
Up to $50 per rain sensor.

Commercial, Institutional and Industrial
The WaterSmart Commercial, Institutional and Industrial Program (CII) helps customers in LCRA’s water service area​​ such as businesses, industries, schools, hospitals, churches and other institutions implement new water-saving equipment and practices.

Indoor Savings
Participants can receive a rebate of up to $100 for each toilet and urinal replaced with water-efficient models, and up to $900 per acre-foot (325,851 gallons) saved for other water-saving equipment and process changes. Outdoor Savings
Irrigation system rebates are also available for up to $1,270 per system or 50 percent of the total cost, whichever is less, for pressure-reducing heads and nozzles, soil moisture sensors and rain/freeze sensors.

Soil moisture sensors:

Up to $20 per rain or freeze sensor, or up to 50 percent of the cost.
*Rebate for a controller with up to 12 stations.
**Rebate for a controller with 13 or more stations.
