LCRA has temporarily lowered lakes LBJ and Marble Falls to assist property owners in recovering from recent flooding. Lake LBJ has been drawn down about 4 feet and Lake Marble Falls is down about 7 feet. Levels at the upper end of the lakes may be higher as LCRA moves inflows downstream. The refill is scheduled to begin on Sunday, Feb. 24. Unforeseen circumstances such as floods or power emergencies could prompt LCRA to change or cancel the drawdown. For more information, visit the
lake lowering webpage.
